From the outside, this beautiful timber cottage looks like it may have once housed early settlers, but inside, it is timber-lined, warm and welcoming. The large living and dining space has an open fire coupled with electric heating and a clean trouble-free kitchen with comfortable furniture.

Double glass doors open up to the large outdoor living deck with a step down to the attractive grassed garden area below -- at dawn or dusk, you will often share the space with one of Bruny Island’s unique White Wallabies - regular visitors to this garden.

Sitting outside with a nice bottle of wine accompanied by exquisite local cheeses and engaging with the stunning bush surroundings, enjoying the forest life whilst taking in the serenity of this truly special place, is a typically mesmerizing Saintys Creek Cottage experience.

The place is magnificent, an immersion in nature, and absolute calm. The house is simple but well thought out, and you can go for walks around the forest or along the river. In the evening, the wallabies come to see you on the terrace

This was a really memorable holiday. Bruny just by itself was spectacular but being able to stay at Saintys Creek in the middle of that forest so close to Cloudy Bay really made it something special. Easily the highlight for us was the animal and bird life. The sounds of exotic bird calls echoing through the forest all day long were wonderfully calming. The plant life around the cottage is also fantastic. It seemed other- worldly to us mainlanders. The cottage was perfectly sized and really well appointed. We really appreciated the higher quality cooking equipment and especially that fantastic coffee machine. Nice linen on the bed and a great shower rounded it all off. Just a great place to stay! Big thanks to Ben for being such a great host. We're definitely coming back.

Spent three nights at Saintys Creek. A delightful, peaceful location with wallabies on the lawn, and lots of birdlife. Cottage is comfortable and spacious for two people, and well located for cycling to Cloudy Bay or Lunawanna. No telephone reception at the cottage - so its a real escape!

The cottage is in a very secluded location surrounded by forest with lots of birds and animals coming for a visit. It is beautifully quiet. While not an easy task, it was well worth the effort to put our own kayaks in the creek and paddle up and out into stunning Cloudy Bay. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Communication with BrunyIsland.au is excellent. Highly recommend staying at Saintys Creek Cottage.

We just enjoyed 2 lovely day here and really loved it. The fire was great, hot, and warm. Showers instant hot water cooked in the kitchen and really enjoyed the quiet time (no children for us for a few days). Enjoyed a lunch at Bruny island premium wines and a lovely relaxed dinner at the pub. We will be back, one more day would have been nice. Cheers.
