From the outside, this beautiful timber cottage looks like it may have once housed early settlers, but inside, it is timber-lined, warm and welcoming. The large living and dining space has an open fire coupled with electric heating and a clean trouble-free kitchen with comfortable furniture.

Double glass doors open up to the large outdoor living deck with a step down to the attractive grassed garden area below -- at dawn or dusk, you will often share the space with one of Bruny Island’s unique White Wallabies - regular visitors to this garden.

Sitting outside with a nice bottle of wine accompanied by exquisite local cheeses and engaging with the stunning bush surroundings, enjoying the forest life whilst taking in the serenity of this truly special place, is a typically mesmerizing Saintys Creek Cottage experience.

Thank you for a magical stay. It was a beautiful rainy night and the forest smelled amazing. The little pademelons were extremely cute. Lovely stay, Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. It was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by the multilayered Tasmanian bush with visits from wallabies and pademelons and a very insistent shrike thrush. One of our trio loves birds so after dark we went looking for owls. No owls but so many other nocturnal creatures. A walk to Cloudy Bay East Head through flowering shrubs accompanied by fast moving squalls was invigorating and then returning to the cottage and a warm fire. What more could we want? Thank you Ben for organising a last minute booking . Hope to be back .

We live locally so thought we knew the area, what a fantastic couple of nights we had. Cottage was perfect and remote, found a couple of great beaches for swimming. Would recommend this to anyone !

We stayed at Sainty's cottage for two nights and absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was very comfortable with every modern appliance while still having a rustic wilderness atmosphere. The wildlife were quite happy to join us on the outside deck. We brought our bicycles and were able to cycle down to cloudy Bay beach and do the east head cloudy Bay walk. We explored adventure Bay the next day with the car. It felt like everything was at our fingertips while still being remote. I would definitely recommend this especially if you are looking for a pleasant wilderness retreat. Best regards Else

A delightful stay here in Saintys’ Cottage. Entertainment by Pademelons & Wallabies. Having escaped from the city (Hobart) to South Bruny and mixture of conservation values (natural & historical& mod cons) Power to charge the car. Satellite dish to provide TV & internet. A coffee machine for addicts! Walk (4km) to the Lagoon. Thanks!
