From the outside, this beautiful timber cottage looks like it may have once housed early settlers, but inside, it is timber-lined, warm and welcoming. The large living and dining space has an open fire coupled with electric heating and a clean trouble-free kitchen with comfortable furniture.

Double glass doors open up to the large outdoor living deck with a step down to the attractive grassed garden area below -- at dawn or dusk, you will often share the space with one of Bruny Island’s unique White Wallabies - regular visitors to this garden.

Sitting outside with a nice bottle of wine accompanied by exquisite local cheeses and engaging with the stunning bush surroundings, enjoying the forest life whilst taking in the serenity of this truly special place, is a typically mesmerizing Saintys Creek Cottage experience.

We just loved this rustic, yet comfortable cottage in the forest a couple of kilometres south of Lunawanna. In fact, we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The cottage is well-equipped for a restful stay, with modern cooking facilities, wood for the cosy stove in the living area and a delightful bed. The deck on the northern side is a great place to sit with a morning coffee and watch the visiting fauna, including wrens, a red-breasted robin and potoroos nibbling the grass.

A very special property in a beautiful part of the world. We loved our stay at Sainty's Creek Cottage and can't wait to return there...2 nights is just not enough time to take in the silence, the wonder of the mossy garden, the bird life at the creek and the local walks through forests. A relaxing home away from home and we really appreciated how easy it was to check in and out, thank you so much :)

We have just had the privilege of 3 nights at Sainty's! As I wrote in the visitors book “In a world gone crazy it was like a big warm Nanna hug” We would like to thank Ben and the family of 7 Paddy Melons who clearly are the real owners of the land and also the little Robin who would peck on the window and chirp until we came out to give her some attention ! We collected oysters and cheese on the way and didn’t move for 3 days !! It was raining and cold but inside we lit the fire and watched through the beautiful French doors into back garden filled Paddy Melons and so many different types of birds it was absolutely amazing ! 3 days felt like 3 weeks we drove out refreshed and planning our next stay ! PS the bed was so comfortable and the coffee machine an extra special surprise. Thanks Ben Thanks PaddyMelons and our Robin ????

Perfect place for a complete escape and relax. Lock the gate and shut out the world except for a number of trips to Cloudy, swims and surfs then wild wet walks. Cabin perfect retreat; warm and cosy and light; can sit and bird and wildlife watch. We did drawing, photography, reading, whittling (left the craft work behind on the shelf), slack line, walks, played scrabble.Cabin very well catered. A floor mop or non washup rag would be handy (to clean up dropped egg). We will be back and also planning a stay during winter weather at the small cabin on the beach.

We had a wonderful stay. The fireplace kept the cabin cosy and warm all night and we enjoyed the company of local wildlife in the evenings. Some robins even joined us on the deck in the afternoons.
