Stunning, peaceful, waterfront home. I have just returned from a womens retreat that was held at the Cloudy Bay Lagoon Estate. We had a stunning weekend and part of the great experience was the amazing accommodation. The hosts bent over backwards to assist us in accommodating our large group at very short notice. The house is well laid out to accommodate large groups and the waterfront views are just spectacular... I loved it, would stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous place to stay with friends and relax into a few days of quiet living. We loved watching the light change over the lagoon from the deck, and if it was chilly the view was no less stunning through the huge windows from in front of the fire. The kitchen was fantastic for those of us who love to cook, and the dinning table a perfect spot for a few after dinner drinks and laughs. We fished the lagoon without luck, but were happy to have an excuse to wade about taking in the views. Birds everywhere, swans, sand pipers, and herons in the water, plovers, green parrots, and wrens about the deck, a falcon or two, and a less than impressed Wedge-tail being harassed by Currawongs. Perfect time away.

Our second time staying at Cloudy Bay Lagoon Estate with our whole family (nan, pop, uncles, aunties + the kids). This house is amazing for larger gatherings (there are 13 of us!). It feels like a large family home where we can cook together, play board games, dance, and walk the stunning foreshore of the lagoon. There is plenty of outdoor space for the kids to ride bikes, sit around the camp fire toasting marshmallows and simply be together. Thanks Ben + team for having us, thanks for making sure the fire wood is topped-up, thanks for the beautiful clean rooms, and for always being available during our stay... this property is our number one family getaway location. x

Hello Ben + fellow travellers, All of Bruny Island is just beautiful! Cloudy Bay Beach +Lagoon in particular are two of the most pristine and lovely places to spend time. We particularly loved dusk when the wildlife come to visit at the house +the herrons and other birds came to feed at low tideā€¦ Walking out onto the sand bars + observing the tiny crabs marching. Magical. Thank you.

The Tasmanian Dash- 3 nights here +what a superb view. magic! Had loads of fun on the lagoon, visiting penguins, Inala for a great bird tour, fluted cape walk and many other walks. We hope to be back.

Our group of 8 came to see the Aurora, but unfortunately the sun didn't cooperate this time.We now know the best place in Tassie when we come again to see it.The house is magnificent and we were particularly amazed to see the thousands of crabs scuttling across the sand at the beach. Highly recommended.
