Waking up to the stunning view of Taylor’s Bay was like nothing else ! Those big beautiful large glass panels around the cottage gave perfect unobstructed water views, and the deck was very much utilised for morning coffee, cheese boards, wine and oysters galore! The property felt nice and private, couldn’t see the neighbours at all! Plenty of space, the main bedroom was huge, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils needed, and it was very useful having a washer/dryer in the bathroom. Couldn’t fault it… was a top location… half way between the neck and the light house, close to the pub, and was pretty much a central point to all the places we wanted to go. Had some little wildlife friends visit in the evening!!! Wish we had stayed longer! Thank you for having us!!

Dear Monica & Hector, Thank you for a lovely stay in Taylors Bay Cottage ! We enjoyed Bruny for the beautiful scenery, walks, and lovely fresh air. We enjoyed our cold plunge at Adventure Bay & would recommend the Bruny Island cruise with sight of amazing rock formations, fur seals, dolphins & glimpse of humpback whales. It was lovely to return to the cottage and relax. Loved the peace & quiet here. Just need to get those cars to slowdown ! Extra stars for the fireplace and coffee machine.

What a stunning waterfront location! Gathering pine cones for the fire as the day bedded down, to the tune of birds and the gently lapping sea water, was the best way to unwind ready for two days of exploring this stunningly beautiful island. Cottage is set up to be a perfect base for this.

This is a lovely rustic and quaint cottage overlooking Little Taylors Bay. It was just a serene, tranquil location with fantastic views. We were well provided for with tea, coffee plenty of soft fluffy towels and firewood. We loved the ambiance of the fire. ?? The cottage is well fitted out.

We stayed at Taylors Bay Cottage for three nights. We wanted to explore Bruny Island and this house suited us very well. The amenities in the cottage were great and I can't think of anything extra that we needed. The view out of the lounge room and bedroom was great overlooking the water. We did make use of the fireplace on two of the nights as it was cold and there was plenty of materials to get the fire started.The house is a little close to the road, so my only criticism is it was noisy at times.

A cute and rustic spot to escape our beautiful children for 3 nights. Enjoyed the pub and winery for dinner. Highly recommend the fluted cape walk, steep incline/decline though. The Labilladiere Peninsula walk a bit overrated- you follow a 4wd track for half of it with fairly limited views. Would have been magnificent before the bush has grown up. Jetty Beach side very pretty and sheltered. Love Bruny very much.

What a delightful quirky homely comforting stay, an absolute delight of a place! Both 12yo boys caught their first fish off the pier, totalling 21 catch + releases, much to their excitements, from the perfect fishing setting down the front. Lovely surprise, not only was the view stunning, but we were greeted by a friendly echidna who entertained us for over an hour. Beer, cheese, wine and crackers on the deck with blue wrens and a couple of Forty-spotted Pardalotes and right on cue, the crow visited us first thing in the morning. Weather was stunning, typical Tassie Autumn, cool nights and calm days. Relaxing stay and great getaway for our 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Amazing weather here for the past 3 days & what a great spot to stay. We enjoyed regular swims in the warm water off the bay. Unbelievable to see Pedra Branca from the lighthouse on Tuesday.
